    Are you an experienced Account Handler looking to take the next step up in your career? Or perhaps you are an existing Account Executive who doesn’t want to be on the road anymore?

    My client is a highly reputable insurance business based in the Newton Abbot area. They are looking for an Account Executive to handle an existing book of commercial business from the office. In this role you will manage clients over the phone or by email with the occasional face to face visit. The salary is competitive dependent on qualifications and experience. Benefits include full support in obtaining professional qualifications and pension.

    Main duties include:

    • Looking after an existing book of commercial business
    • Handling all commercial business and working within a small team in the office
    • Manage and maintain key client relationships
    • Develop business generated from marketing activity and networking events both face to face and online

    The successful candidate must have:

    • Ideally 5 years insurance experience
    • Cert CII qualification as a minimum
    • A want to develop in to a new role
    • Experience in developing and managing Commercial Insurance business
    • Excellent working knowledge of products and insurance market
    • Tenacity and desire to succeed
    • Proven sales and negotiation skills
    • Passion for customer services and professionalism
    • Excellent communication skills
