We are recruiting for a Head of Claims to work in Somerset supporting a dynamic team of experienced handlers and ensuring the highest level of people and claims management service. The role is full time, Monday to Friday and along with the salary - up £60,000 dependant on experience, you will also receive a fantastic benefits package.
The purpose of this role is to lead a team (Commercial & Personal Lines), set strategy and structure, formalise monthly reporting, lead complex claims across the business, managing key relationships (loss adjusters, insurers, legal panel & other third parties), and contribute alongside the wider management team. It is also important for this person to really understand and promote the culture, ethos and company values of the business.
The successful candidate must have;
- Previous within Loss Adjusting, Law or insurance Claims
- Change management experience (desirable not essential)
- A proven track record within People Development
- Commercial & Personal lines experience
- Certificate in Insurance (CII), DIP or CILA qualifications
- Be able to demonstrate a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, integrity and commitment
